Features

Built for territory riders.

The visual language stays quiet and atmospheric; the competitive loop stays clear.

Explore new territory

Every ride gives you another direction to take and another part of the city to know.

Claim in real time

Cross three distinct cells, then watch ownership change as buffered GPS points are flushed.

Climb the leaderboard

Active territory turns everyday riding into visible movement through the city ranks.

Take rival cells

Entering another rider’s active cell transfers ownership immediately and creates a reason to return.

Resilient updates

Socket updates stay compatible with polling, so live delivery is never required for correctness.

Ride history

Keep the routes, dates, and outcomes that explain how your territory changed.

A living map

Viewport loading keeps the city readable while coloured cells reveal nearby competition.

Your own colour

Choose a territory colour that stays recognisable across the map and your profile.

Privacy as a gate

Home-zone protection and anti-cheat checks are required before CycleWar opens publicly.

How it works

Five simple steps to a bigger territory.

No interaction while moving. Start, ride, and let the map fill in behind you.

01

Start a ride

One action starts tracking and keeps the map secondary to safe riding.

02

Ride naturally

Commutes, loops, and explorations all contribute without demanding screen interaction.

03

Cross three cells

Claiming begins only after the ride reaches the fairness threshold.

04

Claim live

New and rival cells update as GPS batches reach the server.

05

Return stronger

Territory loss and leaderboard movement make tomorrow’s route matter.

The map

Your city, claimed live.

The same atmospheric map showcase as the Emergent concept, recoloured for CycleWar’s purple identity.

Gameplay

Explore. Claim. Defend.

The central CycleWar loop, presented with the same spacious glass cards and animated map fragments as the Emergent design.

Explore

Cross unfamiliar cells and make the city map more personal with every safe ride.

Claim

Take open cells and transfer rival territory the moment valid ride points arrive.

Defend

Return before the 30-day window expires and respond when nearby ownership changes.

Reasons to return

Competition with a healthy rhythm.

Retention should come from a changing city and accountable rivals—not from unsafe interaction while moving.

Territory loss

A stolen cell creates a concrete reason to choose tomorrow’s route.

Nearby rivalry

Competition matters when it comes from riders who share the same streets.

Consistency

CycleWar rewards returning over time instead of obsessive or unsafe sessions.

Rank movement

Leaderboard changes turn ordinary rides into visible progress.

Rider snapshot

Progress you can read at a glance.

FAQ

Clear rules, fair competition.

What is CycleWar?

CycleWar is a real-time multiplayer cycling territory game. Ride through fixed map cells to claim them, take cells from rivals, and compete for active territory.

When are cells claimed?

Claiming happens during the ride as buffered GPS points are uploaded. It starts after the ride crosses at least three distinct cells.

Can territory expire?

Yes. Competitive territory remains active for 30 days after capture, keeping the city map dynamic and giving riders a fair chance to respond.

Does the map expose my home?

Home-zone filtering is a required public-launch gate. Raw GPS data is treated as sensitive personal information and must not be exposed to other riders.

Do I need to interact while riding?

No. CycleWar is designed so the ride can continue without screen interaction. Safety always takes priority over the game.

Ready to claim your city?

CycleWar is preparing for launch. Store buttons will become active when builds are ready.
